
GPRS8000-S Module
GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) is a packet-based wireless communication service
which is used for various data applications on phones, including wireless Internet (WAP),
MMS, and software that connects to the Internet. It is an overlay to the GSM network.
Embest GPRS8000-S module is an ARM based embedded GPS module which allows to
connect to Embest Devkit8000 OMAP3530 board for GSM/GPRS solution.
GPRS8000-S Module
Below picture shows how to connect the GPRS8000-S module to Embest Devkit8000
board. Devkit8000's UART (the serial port) from the expansion connector is used to
communicate with the GPRS module.
