MDC109117-01 Ku-Band PLL Low Noise Block Downconverter 10.95-11.7 GHz to 950-1700 MHz External Reference Input TERRASAT INC.'s MDC109117-01 is a SATCOM downconverter that block converts 10.9511.7 GHz Ku-Band downlink frequency to L-Band (950-1700 MHz) in a weatherproof housing suitable for antenna feedhorn mounting together with the MUC140145 or MUC137142 series of block upconverters. The MDC109117-01 is phase locked to an external 10 MHz reference which makes this downconverter ideal for applications that require excellent frequency stability and close-in phase noise characteristics. This downconverter interfaces directly with any L-Band modem or L-Band to 70 MHz converter that accepts an L-Band IF (950-1700 MHz), and provides DC supply voltage and an external frequency reference (10 MHz), on a single coax cable.
